Mask of the Week: John Miller
So you asked for it – and we deliver without hesitation. As expected, Taeleen Woodard from SilenceHer Masks was unanimously chosen for today’s Mask of the Week honor thanks to her design for Colorado State University Rams goaltender John Miller.
We have been beyond excited to exclusively support and promote Taeleen’s mask artistry. The process has been well-document right here on The Goalie Guild and we will continue to do this as time goes on. To be honest, we’re blown away that after just a few short months collecting supplies and preparing, she has already delivered her first pofessional design! So consider this special honor as a well-deserved tip of the hat for Taeleen’s hard work and dedication.
John’s special request for a family and CSU-themed mask surrounded by the frigid, icy-blue Rocky Mountains came to fabulous fruition in this bold design. John’s son is playing with a Tonka truck on one side and the official Rams logo is prominently displayed on the right side.
The top of the mask displays an Aurora green mist stretching across the mountainous horizon, with the light source coming from Miller’s “Slim” nickname. It creates electric bolts radiating throughout the sky and crashing into the snow-peaked mountains.
The green mist spreads across the backplate as well, which includes the basis of the Miller family theme. There’s more to this mask than meets the eye, but you’ll just have to check out Taeleen’s website for more!
Oh and be sure to take advantage of the awesome discount she’s giving all of our readers - especially if you have been itching for the design of your dreams!
*Mention this Mask of the Week article to Taeleen by contacting her at info@silenceherart.com and she will give you $100 off a professional mask design!
