The Goalie Guild welcomes you to our first-ever Medieval Mask Design Contest! We are proud to host the first of many genuine mask design contests for goalies all over the world. That’s right, we offer everyone with a FREE opportunity to win a brand new goalie mask complete with the artwork design of your dreams.
The inaugural contest is already underway, so download the mask template and start designing yours now!

+ The official Medieval Mask Design Contest dates are Wednesday, July 1 - Thursday, December 31. All entries must be made no later than midnight, Dec. 31 MDT. The winner, along with their design, will be revealed on the homepage at 12pm noon MDT on January 1, 2010.
+ Contestants must honor our mission statement by incorporating a Medieval theme or symbol within the design. But what do we mean by Medieval? Read more below!
+ Your completed design and entry must come with a brief written description of the mask, along with a few reasons why YOU should win the Grand Prize (in 500 words or less).
+ To register your entry, simply send your completed mask template and 500-word description to info@thehockeyguild.com or via snail mail to the address at the bottom.
+ All entries must include full legal name, phone number and working e-mail address. If we need anything else, you will be contacted via e-mail. All contestants must either e-mail or snail-mail their entries to us.
+ NO CONTEST ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER MIDNIGHT ON DECEMBER 31.

As we stated above, one rule contestants need to follow is that the design must incorporate a Medieval theme. But what does that mean, exactly? Isn’t that pretty open-ended? Yep, that’s kind of the point. It means we could really care less who is on the mask or what it looks like, so long as it conjures up or represents some kind of Medieval image.
Think of Knights and Wizards, Dragons and Castles. Think of Shields and Swords, Helmets and Horses. Think of Vikings, King Arthur and the Holy Grail. And if you have a design and still aren’t sure if it’s considered a medieval theme, ask us and we will tell you! Medieval Collectibles is another great resource for Medieval content!
